Ford Credit Canada Sells $1billion in Loans

Ford Credit Canada Limited, along with its indirect wholly owned subsidiary PRIMUS Automotive Financial Services Canada Company, announces today that it completed its first whole- loan sale of a portfolio of retail installment sale contracts. The sale was made to a financial institution purchaser for immediately available proceeds of C$1.2 billion (US$1.03 billion).

This sale was made on a fully serviced basis and Ford Credit Canada Limited will continue to be responsible for servicing the contracts.

Ford Credit Canada Limited, which is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company, will use the immediately available proceeds for general business purposes.
