Fannie Mae Delays Q3 SEC Filing

Fannie Mae today filed a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to report that it will not timely file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

The Form 12b-25 includes a discussion of certain key business and market issues that have affected the company, as well as updates on certain other matters.
