ABC-Amega Inc., a leader in commercial receivable management and debt collection, is pleased to announce the promotion of William F.J. Bastiaan to Director, Global Markets. In his new position, Bastiaan, who launched ABC-Amega’s European office, will be responsible for oversight of sales and marketing activities in all regions outside North and South America.
William joined ABC-Amega in 2003 as managing director of European operations. According to CEO David Herer, "William’s more than 20 years experience managing credit operations throughout the world will be a great asset as we continue to build our international opportunities, as well as our FCIB-China franchise."
William was the first European to be selected chairman of the Association of Executives in Finance, Credit and International Business (FCIB), and continues to be a member of the Board of Directors of this leading organization that serves the international business community. Prior to joining ABC-Amega, he served as managing director of Credit Management Solutions & Services. His experience also includes positions as global credit risk manager and credit department manager for DSM, a global chemical firm.
