Creditors Interchange Named Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation of the Year

Creditors Interchange, one of the nation’s largest privately held receivable management firms, has been awarded the honor of the “Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation of the Year” by the Western New York Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Creditors Interchange is aware of the negative stereotype often associated with the collection industry and continues to make efforts to dispel that negative image and increase positive awareness. In addition, the company continuously recognizes the need to “give back” to those that need it most. To further these efforts, Creditors Interchange has established a dress-down program for its employers allowing them to dress casually for work every day for $100 per calendar quarter. Using donated funds as well as company earnings, Creditors Interchange and their employees donated over $300,000 to local and national charities in 2005 and are expecting to reach $350,000 in donations in 2006.

Accepting the award on behalf of the company and their 800 employees in the United States and Canada was Mr. Brent Henderson, Vice President of Human Resources, who stated “we (the employees of Creditors Interchange) have never set out to win awards or recognition. What truly matters is the difference that we make in the lives of the less fortunate by donating just a small amount of money or a little bit of our time. The satisfaction we get from that alone is our award.”

Bruce Gray, President, CEO of Creditors Interchange, added “It is truly an honor to work with such a large number of people who are so generous in their assistance of those that need it most.”
