Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. Names New VP of Human Resources, VP of Strategy and Analysis

Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. today announced the additions of Deanna S. Hatmaker as vice president of Human Resources and James Christopher Lee as vice president of Strategy and Analysis.

Hatmaker and Lee each bring more than 15 years of experience to Asset Acceptance in their respective fields. Hatmaker most recently served as the Director/Human Resources Officer for the Michigan Administrative Information Services unit at the University of Michigan. Lee joins the Company from financial services provider Capital One, having most recently held the position of Group Manager in Credit Recovery Services.

“Deanna and Chris bring a wide range of valuable experience to the Company and are strong additions to our management team,” said Brad Bradley, president, chairman and CEO of Asset Acceptance. “Deanna’s in-depth knowledge of human resources and Chris’ talent for building value through the development and implementation of process efficiencies are important assets we will look to leverage as we continue to grow our Company.”

In her role, Hatmaker is tasked with enhancing employee communications and relationships, aiding in the development of talent measurement and recruiting strategies, while ensuring operational efficiency throughout the human resources department. Hatmaker has served as an adjunct faculty member at Baker College, Eastern Michigan University, and guest lectured at Central Michigan University and the University of Michigan. She spent more than 15 years with OLDE Financial Corporation, holding the position of vice president of Human Resources for several years. While there, she helped facilitate the transfer of ownership when OLDE Financial Corporation and its affiliates were acquired by H&R Block.

As vice president of Strategy and Analysis, Lee will spearhead the creation of corporate and liquidation strategies while developing process controls to bolster operational effectiveness. Starting as a business consultant for Andersen Consulting, Lee moved to First Union Bank/Signet Bank where he became vice president of Consumer Lending and New Product Development. Most recently, Lee built and managed the collection agency network to maximize net recoveries from Capital One’s purchased debt portfolio. He was also responsible for formulating and optimizing the portfolio liquidation strategy.
